26-year-old American soprano Lindsey Reynolds has an exciting lineup of performances and projects ahead. She will perform as Ashley Devon in the U.S. premiere of Missy Mazzoli’s The Listeners with Opera Philadelphia, followed by her debut as Adina in L'elisir d'amore with the New Orleans Opera. She will then take on the role of Mary Louise Smith in the world premiere of She Who Dared with the Chicago Opera Theater. Additional performances and projects are forthcoming.
In the summer of 2024, Reynolds showcased her talent internationally with a recital at the Aldeburgh Festival of Music and the Arts and a concert in Nice, France, celebrating the WWII Liberation of Nice. Previously, she was a member of the Ryan Opera Center Ensemble at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, where her roles included Barena in Jenufa, covering Sadie in Terrance Blanchard’s Champion, and Clorinda in La Cenerentola. During the 2022/2023 season, she performed in productions such as Le Comte Ory, Don Carlos, and the world premiere of Proximity. She also made her debut as the soprano soloist in Poulenc's Gloria at the Grant Park Music Festival.
